Wrapped in Your Arms Lyrics
Is this the whole picture
Or is it just the start?
Is this the way you love me?
You’re capturing my heart
I used to try and walk alone
But I’ve begun to grow
And when you tell me just to rest
I’m finally letting go
I let go
And I’m here to stay
Nothing can separate us
And I know, I’m ok
You cradle me gently
Wrapped in your arms.... I’m home
I’m seeing so much clearer
Looking through your eyes
I could never find a safer place
Even if I tried
All the times I’ve needed you
You’ve never left my side
I’m clinging to your every word
Don’t ever let me go
Don’t let go
Or is it just the start?
Is this the way you love me?
You’re capturing my heart
I used to try and walk alone
But I’ve begun to grow
And when you tell me just to rest
I’m finally letting go
I let go
Nothing can separate us
And I know, I’m ok
You cradle me gently
Wrapped in your arms.... I’m home
Looking through your eyes
I could never find a safer place
Even if I tried
All the times I’ve needed you
You’ve never left my side
I’m clinging to your every word
Don’t ever let me go
Don’t let go

So I know they're a christian band, but at the same time, I think it could also go as like, you've found that person, that you don't want to let go of,(:
I have to agree with amber3291, that this is a song about letting your guard down and letting God in. I think the line of the chorus where she says "nothing can separate us" could be a reference to Romans 8:38-39
I see the connection to God, but like Alexajayy said, It could be interpreted as the bond between two people in true love...
this song is one of the best songs i have heard from fireflight. the vocals are perfection, especially the harmony at the end. this song is just talking about finally letting your guard down and walking with God, letting him carry you. This song is about letting go and letting God take control of your life, which is something everyone needs to do.
the vocals are very good. The singer sings the song as almost as she means it in her own way.
I couldn't agree more. I am in love with Romans 8:38.
I preformed this song in front of my church, but I dedicated it to God, my dad, and my step-mom. I think it could go either way.
True this is about letting one's guard down and allowing God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit in your life. However it touched my heart in another way. I once was an Agnostic until the Holy Spirit touched me at the Orthodox Church. I prayed for a special love, wanting a lady in my life. However God, brought me a special love that I lost 20 years ago when my father died. The love I have for my priest is the love a son has for his father, yet he is younger than me. Whenever I hug him I feel this powerful love and can't imagine my life without him. I'm home in the Orthodox church. When he hugs me I'm cradled gently in the arms of love
