Some Crap About the Furniture Lyrics

You were the best thing summer gave me
Better than silence and no school,
No curfew and no rules.
I was the last thing you expected
To become part of your life
To become part of your life

So sing this song
While you drive home baby, you drive home baby
I will sing along
From another country, another country
And do-do goes the telephone
While the planes and trains won't let me go, oh no.
Pass the world and I will go there.

And when the pollination starts
In the springtime baby, the springtime baby
Can you map out all the parks
If you find time baby, I'll find time baby
And I have nothing to say tther than I love you
And I'll stay if you want me
If you let me I will go
And if you let me I will...

So sing this song
While you drive home baby, you drive home baby
I will sing along
From another country, another country
And do-do goes the telephone
While the planes and trains won't let me go, oh no.
Pass the world and I will go there.

If I admit that I was wrong
In the right tone baby, the right tone baby
And pretend that I belong
In the same room maybe, the same room maybe
And I have nothing to say about this
I love you and I'll stay if you want it
If you let me I will go
And if you let me I will go

You were the best thing summer gave me.

So sing this song
While you drive home baby, you drive home baby
I will sing along
From another country, another country
And do-do goes the telephone
While the planes and trains won't let me go, oh no.
Pass the world and I will go there.

So sing this song
While you drive home baby, you drive home baby
I will sing along
From another country, another country
Oh no...

Tired eyes
You are all the same...
Overhead, our love fades
Tired of wasting sleep...

Even tho I know that anyone that have listen to this song owns an advance track of the long awaited PlayRadioPlay!'s album, Texas, I can't help but praise how much it kicks all kinds of asses. I'm totall in love with it, and I hope that Daniel don't feel bad for his stuff being leaked and out there so soon, I think that just proves how much people are into his songs. And I hope that, like myself, anyone that are really in love with it, support him buying the cd when its finally out, going to his gigs and stuff. Anyway, about the song. It's really becoming one of my favorites PlayRadioPlay! songs released to date. I think the meaning it's pretty straight forward for anyone that knows a little about his relationship with Madi and how much this has influenced Hunter in his lyrics. I've heard smart asses mockin' him for writing all about this one girl, I think if it was any other giving time, maybe I'd be mockin' him too, but yeah, now I can say that totally relate to that. Listen to this song yesterday came in a such appropriate time that its almost unbelievable...

i'm pretty sure it's "pause the world," not pass. but on the other hand, this song is amazing. it's so honest and energetic.

This has quickly become one of my favorite songs by Dan. I do believe this song is about Madi. Their relationship is adorable.

It's definitely "Pause" not "Pass."

This song is simply amazing It sounds like he knows that they're love was unexpected. Maybe it was just a fling or something, but they ended up falling for each other. They ended up with more than they bargained for and now that they're being challenged by distance, he's telling her that he's willing to fight for it ?

Idk i could be totally wrong XD

yeah i agree with silverbullet, i think this is about a summer fling that turned into more. he is willing to deal with the distance, but maybe she is more hesitant. he'll stay with her if it's what she really wants.
