Meanwhile In Hollywood... Lyrics
Suck in, blow out
The same air in the same town
Oh it goes on and on and on and on
Gaze out, double glaze in
Heavy eyelids keep my thoughts in
Oh it goes on and on and on and on and on but...
Meanwhile in Hollywood
Oh this world’s over you know
And in suburbia
Oh this world’s over you know
But then I guess what would I know?
Is there anyone else out there?
Have a moment to themselves
While they’re stacking some shelves
In the new complex
Yes, we’re all impressed by your brand new multi-storey car park
and state of the art shopping mall
(Mark II) You’re oh oh oh
(Comfortable) You’re oh oh oh
(Respectable) And you’re oh oh oh
We still suck in, blow out
The same air in the same town
Oh it goes on and on and on and on
Gaze out, double glaze in
Heavy eyelids keep my thoughts in
Oh it goes on and on and on and on
On and on and on and on and on but...
Meanwhile in Hollywood
Oh this world’s over you know
And in suburbia
Oh this world’s over you know
But then I guess what would I know?
You have gotta have dreams
And they tear at the seams
Like sleeves with leaves and LSD
So your mind can explode
You’re hired by a bigger, better man than yourself
(Mark II) You’re oh oh oh
(Comfortable) You’re oh oh oh
(Respectable) And you’re oh oh oh
We still suck in, blow out
The same air in the same town
Oh it goes on and on and on and on
Gaze out, double glaze in
Heavy eyelids keep my thoughts in
Oh it goes on and on and on and on
On and on and on and on and on but...
Meanwhile in Hollywood
And in suburbia
Meanwhile in Hollywood
And in the Middle East
It goes on and on and on and on
And on and on and on and on
And on and on and on and on
And on and on and on but...
Meanwhile in Hollywood
Oh this world’s over you know
And in suburbia
Oh this world’s over you know
But then I guess what would I know?
If you love them, let them go
The same air in the same town
Oh it goes on and on and on and on
Gaze out, double glaze in
Heavy eyelids keep my thoughts in
Oh it goes on and on and on and on and on but...
Oh this world’s over you know
And in suburbia
Oh this world’s over you know

I think it's "marketing" rather than Mark II. Other than that I think you have it spot on.
I'm pretty sure a couple of things need correcting: "Gaze out, double glazing"
"Meanwhile in Hollywood all is well so you know and in Suburbia all is well so you know" etc.
"(Marketed) Ghetto - oh - oh"
I think these are right, quality song xx
this is my profile song at the moment on myspace. its dead good, i heard it on zane lowe's show and now i cant stop listening to it!
The lyrics elle Milano produce are exellent. What i love so much about this band is that they sing aout issues that ordanry bands would not, they have a lot to say about society, especially in tis song.
Love it x
