Search Warrant Lyrics
I thought I told you not to run down on the one way track
There's a man with a train and he's coming fast
We could ask him how to turn it around
He'll be sad for your life and then run you down
Don't ask me why, It's hard to explain
But you'll only get wet if you play in the rain
I'm not trying to run from you
I just don't like the way we're pretending
If this already becomes untrue
I'm searching
And then they brought me to a mountain of the highest peaks
there's a heavenly view but it's hard to reach
It's an island high above the ground
I climbed halfway but I turned around
Don't ask me why, it's hard to explain
But you'll never get wet staying out of the rain
I'm not trying to run from you
I just don't like the way we're pretending
If this already becomes untrue
I'm searching

really confusing...its like she's running from God but at the same time trying to find Him, maybe she's trying to conform/compromise what God wants and she realizes its not working
I believe that this song is about commitment to relationships. It sounds like the person is afraid to commit because it is to hard "I climbed halfway but I turned around".
