I think its about a guy and a girl and the girl wants out of the relationship. She says that they are so different, and are completely incompatible, and that they should no longer date. The guy does not want things to be over, because he still likes the girl so he is desperate for something they have in common. He remembers that they both liked the same movie, and hopes this is something that they can build off of to restore their relationship. This song is very obvious, I just wanted to be the first to analyze it.
