You can watch TV and watch the media
President Bush doing takeover
Kate Moss in ads for mascara
All my youth, the young offender
The bill payers, the drug dealers
Girls who are on magazine covers
The part-time jobbers at a call center
No career plans 'cause you won't go far
Put away change for Ibiza
And check your credit on your new Nokia
You can be a follower, but who's your leader?
Break that cycle or it will kill you
You leader, you lead
Come, do what you do now
What's really good that gonna happen to you?
Your prime minister to your employer
Ego-lovers need more power
The trendsetters make things better
Don't sell out to be product pushers
The giro-cashier and baby maker
Try something new 'cause it ain't over
All poor people from all over
The lottery's got a rollover
You can be a follower, but who's your leader?
Break that cycle or it will kill you
Cherokee Indians, Iraqi and Indians
Girls are my girls when it comes to the fellas then
Japanese, Moroccan, Caribbean, African
Life's your life
Oh, who the fuck's your president?
You no get my life 'cause I don't have a side, and I
Spread out boy, I'm a mile wide, and I
Got brown skin, I'm a West Londoner
Educated, but a refugee still
You want a war?
You're old, you go
You wanna fight?
You suck, you blow
Na na na na na na . . .
Oi! Oi!

she's one angry and frustated girl...awesome song
basically we are all just going through our lives without purpose. this song is asking people whats your purpose? what do you stand for? its saying that your following people who are setting a wretched example and looking only at the superficial. we need to dig deeper and not only do what is right, but demand that our leaders do whats right. its like why would i want important decisions to be made, and aspects of my life to be dictated by someone who doesnt know what they are talking about and someone who basically stands for nothing and cares for no one but themselves.?
Totally honest...the chorus alone is a wake-up call for a lot of this world
where can i hear this song?
this song's called M.I.A.
on MIA and Diplo's split album "piracy funds terrorism"
love the song. what's a gyro casher though?
it's "Japanese, Morrocan, Caribbean African"
i'm pretty sure it's "haitian, laotian" not "that's your life"
