Holes Lyrics
I’ve got holes
in my jeans
but what’s worse
they’re in my head too
I’ve got holes
in my jeans
but what’s worse
they’re in my head too
I’m so tired
with my holes
and I’m so sorry
I got you involved
I’m so tired
with my holes
and I’m so sorry
I got you involved
I’m so sorry
I got you involved
I take a walk
in the snow
don’t be alive
I’m not here
cus I take a walk
in the snow
in my jeans
but what’s worse
they’re in my head too
in my jeans
but what’s worse
they’re in my head too
with my holes
and I’m so sorry
I got you involved
with my holes
and I’m so sorry
I got you involved
I got you involved
in the snow
don’t be alive
I’m not here
in the snow

I read somewhere that the lead singer Erik Mattiasson had a mild case of Schizophrenia, so I think the lines "but what's worse / they're in my head too" are making reference to that.
Also, it sounds like his illness affected his relationship with someone.
Really good song.
