Heart Be Still Lyrics

Baby, my heart is breaking
And there's no hope, no hope inside
The sky is an ocean of darkness, oh
No one, no one, no one to hold me
In the long lonely night

(Tell me) How can I
How can I forget you?
Oh, how can I go to sleep

When I know that I love you?
I love you
And always will
(Heart be still)
Heart be still
(Heart be still)
Heart be still
(Heart be still)
Heart be still
Oh yes

When you
When you are lonely
And you're feeling so blue
Think of
The true love
I give to you
You know
Baby, you don't know
I give my love
My heart's all
And baby
(Come home)
Come home
(Come home)
Come home
(Come home)
I'll come home
My arms are waiting

(Heart)
Heart be still now
Maybe, maybe she'll come back
Oh
If you ever want me
If you ever need me
Listen, listen
Heart (3:07 - 3:26)

Heart be still
Oh yes
Oh-oh-ah
My arms are waiting

a song about love or something... i was the first again...

This is definitely NOT a Queen song. This is not a Smile song, either. It comes from Peter Straker's 1978 album "This One's On Me". This album was co-produced by Freddie Mercury and Roy Thomas Baker.

This song was written by Jerry Ragavoy and was first recorded by Lorraine Ellison in 1967. It was later recorded by Peter Straker (IMHO, the far superior version) and as DragonflyTrumpeter83 said, co-produced by Freddie Mercury and Roy Thomas Baker, ALSO with Freddie Mercury participating in the backing vocals hence the Queen connection.
