Such a great song, the most overlooked on the new album. Alot of ppl give it shit because its a soft ballad but no one in the rock/metal genre does songs like these quite as well as Tobias Sammett, the dude just has a knack for writing these with all sorts of little musical twists and phrasings that give it that extra emotional punch. Probably one of his best ballads alongside The Story Ain't Over and Amanda Somerville is fantastic on it.
Indeed, this is probably my favourite from the Scarecrow. Who'd have thought you could make a heart-breaking rejection so beautiful?
I love this song! Who says that a song has to have tons of heart-pounding guitar and drums to be good? It's good to have a quiet song every now and then. This song has such a beautiful melody, coupled with two fantastic voices. It is so powerful too!
This song sounds like it could easily belong in a movie soundtrack - it's that good. The duet between Amanda/Tobias sounds great, and makes for a great metal slow song.
