Well, this song is about Pierre's brother's battle with cancer, and how he wishes to save him.

There are so many different ways people can see this song, but it hits home for me in a completely different way then most.

I was dating a guy for a while and we were what everyone considered "the perfect couple". He started having family problems and he was going through a lot so he was acting weird all the time. I always was here for him, but it got to be too much for him to handle. We broke up but he was still my best friend, but I still saw him changing a lot and going in the wrong direction.

He started dating another girl who was the worst influence he could have on him. He started running away from home constantly, staying drunk, not coming home, and it was all because of his girlfriend. We completely stopped talking because of her and I haven't talked to him since. I know I could make an effort to be his friend again, but it wouldn't be worth it at all. The point I'm getting at is, I know the amazing person he was, and stood back and watched him become this horrible person he is now. I know that one day it's gonna catch up to him that he's messing up big time, and I know that no matter what he has put me through I'll be here when he finally crashes and can't do it anymore.

The lead singer's brother had cancer so that's what has obviously inspired this song. This song explains every detail of what someone who is witnessing someone go through cancer. What they are going through How they are feeling What they want to do What they cant do.

I like those because i can relate to the lyrics. Defintally one of my all time favourtie songs and the band that saved/changed my life.

This is one of the songs that I relate to the most. This perfectly describes they way I feel about my boyfriend. He's got such a messed up past and sometimes I wish I could just save him from all that he's been through. He deserves so much better than what he has. I wish that I could take it all away. I wanna learn how to play it on the guitar so I can sing it to him. ♥
