No Easy Way Out Lyrics
We're not indestructible
Baby, better get that straight
I think it's unbelievable,
How you give into the hands of fate
Well, some things are worth fighting for
Some feelings never die
I'm not asking for another chance
I just wanna know why
There's no easy way out
There's no shortcut home
There's no easy way out
Giving in can't be wrong
I don't wanna pacify
I don't wanna drag you down
But I'm feeling like a prisoner
Like a stranger in a no-name town
I see all the angry faces,
Afraid that could be you and me
Talking about what might have been,
Thinking about how it used to be
There's no easy way out
There's no shortcut home
There's no easy way out
Giving in can't be wrong
Baby, maybe we could shed this skin
We could know how we feel inside,
Instead of going down this endless road,
Not knowing if we're dead or alive
Well, some things are worth fighting for
Some feelings never die (Never die)
I'm not asking for another chance
I just wanna know why
There's no easy way out
There's no shortcut home
There's no easy way out
Giving in can't be wrong, no
There's no easy way out
(There's no easy way out)
There's no shortcut home
(There's no shortcut home)
There's no easy way out
(There's no easy, no easy, no easy way out)
There's no easy way out
(There's no easy way out)
There's no shortcut home
(There's no shortcut home)
There's no easy way out
(There's no easy, no easy, no easy way out)
There's no easy way out
There's no shortcut home

yes, this is a cover. the original version was on the rocky 4 soundtrack. it's played in it's entirety during one of the best movie montages of all time. a very famous song, and a great cover by BFMV...
It was Robert Tepper, I believe.
It's Robert Tepper indeed. I really like this, better than any of the other covers, I think. Well, it could of course be because I don't like Metallica, etc. hum
righttt... i LOVE bfmv but i was kindaa disapointed by htiss song i owuld prfer it more screamo but ive neverr heard matt like this beforeee so yess amazingg osng!!! <3 :D
Great bonus song. Lifts the mood with the poppy intro with blazing guitars. Reminds me of Enter Shikari but good.
this song is about lovers finding themselves in the middle of a crossroad and they are falling apart, due to the distance or time. but still one of them is asking why should it be like this and is trying to hold on to this love even if the other thinks its impossible to hold on to it.
"there is no easy way out" out of this tunnel there is nothing for them still he is trying hard to cling to this love and fighting the odds because its worthy even if its not easy.
am kinda in a situation like this at the moment, at first i didnt like this song but now i understand and feel the mood and lyrics better
where is this song from? its not on any of the albums. is it a cover?
"Giving in can't be wrong," seems to go against the rest of the chorus and almost ruins the song for me. He goes on and on about how he is going to stick it out, then talks about giving in like he wants to take the easy way. The only justification I can come up with is that he is giving in to gettin' 'er done the hard way. Any opinions? Obviously a real hot discussion topic....... Either way, this is my theme song. Just trying to graduate; I have to keep telling myself: "there's no easy way out."
also, for a good time, watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SgohFX9VlJ8 Now those are some dance moves
This song is originally by Survivor (who did it better...) and is from Rocky IV.
