..(i).. Lyrics
come with the raising,
of you.
two years ago in the woods,
saw a branch,
fall in the brook.
i'll lead you, i'll lead you,
to your throne.
but it's up to my knees now,
build me up, for the breakdown.
and i carried this all for you,
and you know i did.
and i bottled it just for you,
and you know i did.
taking hold caught a rash,
and i did it all for you.
of you.
two years ago in the woods,
saw a branch,
fall in the brook.
to your throne.
build me up, for the breakdown.
and you know i did.
and i bottled it just for you,
and you know i did.
taking hold caught a rash,
and i did it all for you.

I've noticed how a lot of people seem to be getting all these religious vibes from songs, and I guess that could be some of what's going on....but i'll keep this general and tentative and bland and let other people take it from here.
This song strikes me as someone who's sacrificed everything for someone else, and wants to know what they're getting in return. Perhaps a parent for a child? The only line i can't make any heads or tails of is "saw a branch, fell in a brook"
But what it feels like is a selfish child demands everything from the parent, and the parent gladly and willingly gives, but then maybe the child demands too much, and leaves the parent wondering where they went wrong??
That's what I've got.
