oh wow his voice in this is so clear and pretty. like i melt everytime it makes me wanna cry almost. i just love the way he delivers the song. it makes them so strong and emotional and i am just in love with panic. they are incredible.

To me, this song is about how the world is changing and he's okay with it. The line

"I know its sad that I never gave a damn about the weather and it never gave a damn about me"

seems to be more about people, because like the weather, people are always changing.

I love this song, it's beautiful. I especially love the line about going to hell with the person.

I kind of made a connection with London Beckoned Songs About Money Written By Machines when it said: The weather today is Slightly sarcastic with a good chance of A. Indifference or B. Disinterest in what the critics say I kinda thought weather meant critics, and they still don't give a damn about what the critics say?

The bit where he sings 'I know it's mad...' I instantly thought of Sweeney Todd. In actual fact, this song has that whole broadway vibe. How awesome.

The whole album seems to have an "Alice In Wonderland" theme...like, the whole tea party thing, and rabbits ("Mad As Rabbits"), and everything. And I know Ryan is an Alice In Wonderland fan. In this song specifically, the "I know its sad that I never gave a damn about the weather and it never gave a damn about me" reminds me of the part in Alice In Wonderland where some bird creature is singing at sea "And I never ever ever do a thing about the weather, because the weather never ever does a thing for me!" Similar verse IMO.
