Q&A

Would They Were Now, I Was Then Lyrics

great spirits they
now have left me
alone thoughtful without other
ive none to share with
my madness
landscapes do they steal from me
what lost against
these rocks
what axes against what decades

i am revelling in aged spirits
two hundred years gone
oh how i am distorted
sightless yet not
so skillful as to wield
blindness against
those rocks
will never stand
the surge the surge

am i let myself become so decieved
maybe i can revive
bring back notions
lost by modernity
prove with their science that these
fossils are not so old these
bones are not so foreign

great spirits pass not through me
over me take me
for residence i am offering
my whole and carnate being
and together we can
be silenced
