The Belljar (Summer In The Hamptons) Lyrics

Following you on yesterday
Never suited me any way
I am not the only one
Looks bad and alone at the time

Slow thing goes we all cry on and ...
Hope is by the sea ...
I am feeling uptight
Nothing on the inside
Soaking up the sunlight
Trying to make it alright

I know my keep the poor
Means I never have to travel far
Between any only fare
It's worth the pain and fear

Slow thing goes we all cry on and ...
Hope is by the sea ...
I am feeling uptight
Nothing on the inside
Soaking up the sunlight
Trying to make it alright
Can't believe it's so hard
I can buy a sports car
Take it to the end times
Driving through the water

Slow thing goes we are cry on and
Hope is by the sea ...
I am feeling uptight
Nothing on the inside
Soaking up the sunlight
Trying to make it alright
Can't believe it's so hard
I can buy a sports car
Take it to the end times
Driving into the water

I am feeling uptight
Nothing on the inside
Soaking up the sunlight
Trying to make it alright
Can't believe it's so hard
I can buy a sports car
Take it to the end times
Driving into the water

Here's how i interpreted the lyrics for bits of the song that are different to how you heard them

First verse: Bought a new one yesterday Never suited me anyway But i'm not the only one That looks bad in a Louis Vuitton

Chorus: something burns in me, yet my only hope is by the sea I am feeling uptight (maybe?) nothin on the outside soaking up the sunlight trying to make it alright

Seond Verse: at home i keep a bar means i never have to travel far to be near the only thing thats worth the pain it brings...
