I love this song, one of my all time favs. Glad to see Ludo's new cd isn't completly dark and twisted.
this is a cute song... it kinda explains itself in the lyrics... i love ludo :)
I just realized, there are a lot of connections between the songs on this album. For example, this song and In Space could be connected, because this song could be about the astronaut leaving for his trip and saying goodbye. And then of course, In Space is him pining for his love, who he said goodbye to in this song. Also, Drunken Lament and Mutiny Below--in Drunken Lament she leaves him and he's totally lost, and then in Mutiny Below he finally got over her and then she comes back. I don't know if these were intentional or accidental, but it's pretty cool either way.

I actually kindof see this song as almost a 'losing virginity' sort of song.
Or first time with this person that you love.
He's got to leave, and they almost did, but they didn't, and he's begging her to save herself and her love for when he returns.
I always thought of this song as a song about him going on the road to tour with the band. How he wants to spend the last night home with her and how he wants to be with her and how he wants her to be with him, they just have to wait until he is back from the tour.
Yeah, I totally pictured this as Andrew is leaving for tour the next day and he's spending one last night with his girl. One of my favorite songs. But then again, almost all of Ludo's songs are lol.
I always think of this song as kind of a farewell to the girl he loves right before he goes to war. It's sweet and sad.
