-The Beltway- Lyrics

at the rate i'm goin
little hands will be all that hold me back and
the minute men they stand and watch
well fuck them through
don't lose touch
better keep those shoes
and specs on the middle
the minute men they stand and watch
well fuck them

still approved,
located in the region
somewhere off of bermuda
caught on quick,
consider it belittled
tired and deleted.

everbody look its a breathing stepping stone
not to be confused with my meanlingless monologue

hummingbird
killed the lion's pride
with the
streaks of shade
and by the way.........

i'll be frank,
where lights dim under pressure,
and ignore applications,
excuse me,
corrections are appealing,
locks to secure breathing.

everbody listen to him, he speaks in monotone,
another cyborg among the fertile drones.

...and now i bare this curse for you.
not for him.
it loses a blinker,
fought both sides,
and now i bare these thoughts of you,
not of him.
i'll stay right here and gaurd the similar.

strike!
leg up, say you'll get.
tell me you'll get it.

I present to you the only FTM song ever to say Fuck!!!! As for its meaning, it remains an enigma to me. They're pretty complicated lyrics. It doesnt really sound like Darroh is saying all of that in the song, but he used a lot of layered vocals in the song, so maybe he's saying it somewhere in the backround.

Hmm

From what I can guess, maybe this song is referring to the commander of a military operation who refuses to back down on his plan, and possibly his batallion disagrees with it.

That's just a first impression, mind you.

[actually, in gaining one the vocals just keep building on top of each other at the end. Which is possibly one of the coolest sounds i have heard in music. I think in this song, they're simply overlapping rather than actually being layered.]

weirdly enough, i can't keep from associating this with that one episode of MASH where there's a racist guy and then pierce and hunnicut[i think it was hunnicut] paint him so he looks black.

or something along those lines.

idk.
