i love this song. its so sweet.
i guess its about them on the road and the fun they have. i think "That 40 has gone to your head" is kind of making fun of the fact that 40 bucks is so huge to them.
i think its trying to draw attention to all the small things in life that you'll always remember later on but you dont even realise how much they mean when its happening.
