this song is basically about a girl who leaves the one she loves...and hates it..but knows she has to move on so she wont "get hurt again" she tries so hard to be alone like dancing at discos states..cause she is so use to him.

the seven days of lonely is like a week.. theres seven days in a week.. and each one she spends feeling sad and lonely because every day is a day without the guy she loves
my friends are absolutely obsessed with I Nine. This song is AMAZING. but yeah, same as said before- girl gets a call from her boyfriend and from the things he left unsaid she knew she's get hurt again so they break up. she's still in love with him and can't get used to being alone. the Seven Days of Lonely are the first week she spends without him.
yea i think the "seven days of lonely" is to do with the inital shock of the break up, putting emphasis on the fact that the first week of being alone is the worst and how she wishes things would go back to the way they were, quite relateable :(

yah, the seven days is the mourning period. she has to get used to do everything alone. like those commercials where the smokers have to get used to doing stuff when they dont use cigarettes anymore. shes so used to him being part of her life in every way that she has to remember hes not there to help her anymore.
