Wishing For A Sail Lyrics

There's a tune ringing in my ear
That always starts me singing
There's a doubt hiding in my fears
Till something starts it stinging
And my head starts to spin and to sink
And my arms are too tired to bail
But here we are in this slow boat
Wishing for a sail

There's a path that leads beneath the trees
Waiting to be traveled
There's a riddle that was written just for me
That has to be unraveled
And my coat is tattered and torn
Worn down by the wind's wicked wail
And here we are in this slow boat
Wishing for a sail

There's a devil standing on my tail
But I don't have to beat him
There's an angel tempting me to fail
But I don't really need him
Because the waves just keep rolling along
We can drift if the current prevails
But here we are in this slow boat
Wishing for a sail

Woah no one has commented on this song yet? It's such an awesome song, with beautiful straight to the point lyrics.

To me this song is about ordinary people going through a tough or slow event in their life, and just hopes for the better. (WISHING FOR A SAIL) It's about finding your meaning in life, I wonder why this song didn't become more famous LOL, all I know is this was the theme song for a show called CAITLIN'S WAY. It was an okay show, kind of soft for me but it was still okay =]

I LOVEEE DIG CIRCUS!!!!! :D X] ;)
