Cassius (Promo Version) Lyrics
I thought this was worth putting here, it's taken from wikipedia.org
"In a video interview with NME, lead singer Yannis Philippakis stated that the track was "the most straightforward song on the album. It's trying to deal with somebody being two-faced or, even to the extreme, someone having a split personality. The reason for why it's called Cassius - Cassius Clay who became Mohammad Ali, it's almost like there's two people in one and Cassius, the conspirator who instigated the assassination of Julius Caesar, who is a very literal symbol of being two faced".[2]"
once you take that into consideration the song is really pretty simple to decode. it's still well written though. very catchy phrasing and bright. the guitar melodies really compliment the singing. cheers.
oh, he also definitely isn't saying gay. he does have quite a peculiar english accent though, so i can understand why someone might mistake it. its pretty cool though!

As stupid as it sounds, I swear I hear "Cassius these daydreams, these daydreams are gay"
I agree, for some reason it does sound like "Cassius these daydreams, these daydreams are gay"
It always makes me giggle though, I guess I am just being imature.
i love foalsss :)
cassius refers to some ancient roman person but anyway i believe there's no meaning at all so lets just dance!
oh and it sounds to me daydreams are gay eiter!
I always thought it was these daydreams are gay too =D
i thought that it was these daydreams are gay, and i still do! sod it!
God, i thought it was only me! nice to know others are as immature as me!!! Though id sware blind it ACTUALLY does say "are gay".. i guess we'll never know »»»»»»
Does anyone actually have the album with the artwork? Maybe there'd be the lyrics in there, because after hearing so many people say that it's "these daydreams are gay" I'm beginning to hear that every time I listen to it.
