This song is obviously about one of his friends who was shot. His friend lived and it goes through what Brack (the artist) went through and what he saw/heard/thought/did.
actually one error, last chorus its "i'm closer to death" not "i was closer to death"
Are you sure this song is about a friend that got shot? I thought it might've been metaphorical.
yeah i see it as being more as a metaphor too...but idk
