This is a very subtle and good song its also a trailor for gossip girl one that everyone has been dying to find out about. Definitley seems like the persons bitter about the mother of their child.

i've been sitting here trying to figure out what the hell this song means. i know it sounds good and its entrancing but the meaning? he liked a girl; got a child out of it. things didn't work out and they're not together. by the sound of it he doesn't give a shit what goes on in her life now. that may not even be close to the meaning i was trying to take a stab at it.
