Well I guess that's about someone, who had lost his life, trying to fit in to the society (or the society in some way had forced him to be someone else). It's about someone, who gave up his chances and suddenly realized it's too late for him to turn back and live a life he always wanted. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is how I understand it.
