i think this song is about how a friend died and the late friend is reassuring that they will still be there for whoever needs them
The way I see it, it's about a person going through life, facing troubles, as we all do. But the songs reminds me that Jesus is here for me, smiling, and with me always, to help me through the hard times, and be by my side always.
Even if that's not what Pillar was going for, it's still true, and that's how I see the song.
