Haha whoops I meant to post that on Wonder Years. THIS song is about the shit music that's out there nowadays.
About in-authenticity in music. Love the guitar center line. He's also criticizing the hardcore community - many bands only sing about community friends 'shit we already know'. He's frustrated that this potentially limitless style of music is just repeating itself.
Also, he lists a number of influences - classical, country, hip-hop. . . most of his contemporaries wouldn't admit they listen to anything but hardcore.
