As 'twere the mirror Lyrics
Never mind, is this worth saying?
It won't change so am I wasting my breath?
I'm tired of where the bar is.
It's getting harder to ignore.
No glitz, no glam.
No shit, no sham.
What once was ours is fading fast.
Learn something, feel something, think something new
*Those magic clothes don't play music, we do.
If it's not clear: This is a love song.
What I held dear is in need of defense.
By sword and sheild, I will protect you.
They'll recognize my battle cry.
No glitz, no glam.
No shit, no sham.
The sounds we love, they might not last.
Learn something, feel something, think something new
*Those magic clothes don't play music, we do.
Learn something, feel something, think something new
*Those magic clothes don't play music, we do.
No Glitz, no glam
*Those magic clothes don't play music, we do.

"Those magic clothes don't play music, we do."
I wonder what this mean? Possibly an anti-fashion statement.
if you think about it, he means just cause you wear what some people call "scene clothes", such as tight jeans, doesn't mean you're part of the scene. you can wear the clothes, but unless you're actually involved then you're being a poser.

I think this song is about the bygone uprising of bullshit "emo" and "scene" bands.
"if it's not clear, this is a love song"
might be a reference to the formulated lyrical styles of many bands that write easy to sing along lyrics for angsty teenagers.
"no glitz no glam. no shit, no sham"
This song is definitely about the over populated music scene these dudes are in and how low the standards are to please the majority of it's listeners. "I'm tired of where the bar is" The music scene the love is being changed for the worse right in front of them and their not just gonna sit by and watch it happen. "What once was ours is fading fast" "If it's not clear: This is a love song. What I held dear is in need of defense. By sword and sheild, I will protect you." "The sounds we love, they might not last."
