These Days Lyrics

Days so cold put on your balaclavas
Call the police oh what a palava
I'll take the door love you take the safe
It's a perilous place but we don't care these days
Because stormy weather is bringing us together again
Just raise your eyes and see how much it's raining

And in all this rain
The room like lightning
With the blue lights flashing outside
Your face is pretty as astronomy
And if a bullet whistles
Like a poison kiss
Well I don't care these days

Now she's knee deep in fifty pound noted
While a slow red river runs sleepily over
We could have walked in the park in a cold eclipse
Had a go at each other like a tramp eating up his chips
But instead I raise my eyes to see how much I love you

And in all this rain
The room like magic
With the blue lights flashing outside
Your face is pretty as astronomy
And the bullet whistles
Like a poison kiss
But I don't care these days

Lyric Correction

@heff28 found some other lyrics ... think they are correct (the lyrics that were on here appeared to be from Dr Dog's song "These Days").

Not sure how correct the lyrics are, I had to fix up a few spelling mistakes and unsure what the word palava in the second verse is meant to be???

@sokorny- Looks good to me apart from the word "palaver (not Palava)". It's a slang word meaning trouble or bother. I've found a couple by Dogs now that are totally different songs!
