i think it's about this girl (Katy possibly) that has this crush on someone she knows nothing is going to happen with. she believes that even if they do have a relationship it won't last long. yet, you don't know how things are gonna work out unless you try.

oopsies. so i think it's like a relationship that's seemingly coming out of the blue that may or may not work out. she really hopes it's gona, so they decide to go against the odds & try to be together anyway.

its like her heart loves someone and wont let her stop thinking about them. it beats her with thoughts of him. and her situation is always so complicated and shes trying to figure it all out but its too unpredicatable and she cant figure out the "probability" or the outcome of the situation if she decides to take the chance and tell him about her feelings.
