Some "witnesses" came to her doorstep to do what they normally do, sell the idea of god. She probably said what many do be it for no interest in religion or simple lack of time, "no thank you", but I'm assuming they didn't just leave. Probably got uptight, and some point said something that inspired the line "you save the world from me".
