I definitely think you are wrong. I'm pretty sure it's just about being unbelievably frustrated with everything and with yourself and wanting everything, including yourself, to get destroyed and blown up and eaten.
Also this song is named Unicron not Unicorn.
About the werewolf part, I think it's like how werewolves do horrible things when they become a wolf and then they wake up as a human and regret it. So I think the song is about how angry he is at himself and the world because of what he regrets.

to clarify: Unicron was a Transformer who would transform into a planet. He'd also eat planets (most likely crushing mountains and making nature on said plants bleed in general).
I don't think the entire song is about him, just that he might have served inspiration for the title and first few lines. It'd be interesting if this was written entirely from his perspective (or at least what Sean would assume is his perspective), but that final line completely destroys that theory.

Seeing that he's a werewolf, and generally, werewolves hide in nature, so he wants to destroy everything that is hiding him from everyone else, in this case nature is physically hiding him from people, but he wants his emotional barriers that are hard to tear down to be torn down, because apparently, he can't do it himself.

In my own personal experience, this resonated with me with my S.A.D. Most of my depression, panic, anxiety, and mood problems all occur in the winter. I live in northern PA where weather can change from -10 and snowing in day to 50 degrees and sunny the next.
