Count Me In Lyrics

Craddle up, there's a fragile life
You can paint the picture pretty,
but it serves as no disguse
It's only getting later now
and you've become a waste of time

The silver spoon won't feed your friends
'Cause life tastes better when you eat with your hands

Count me in and I'll be the one
to take the knife out of your spine
'Cause I know you'd be the first
to bury the blade deeper into mine
into mine

Living on this charming life
You can write the prefect setting,
but the story I'm not buying

We're only getting older now
and you've become a waste of time

The silver spoon won't feed your freinds
'Cause life tastes better when you eat with your hands

Count me in and I'll be the one
to take the knife out of your spine
'Cause I know you'd be the first
to bury the blade, to bury the blade
I'm counting on you to bury the blade

Count me in and I'll be the one
to take the knife out of your spine
'Cause I know you'll be the one
to bury the blade, but she's still in mine

Count me in and I'll be the one
to take the knife out of your spine
'Cause I know you'd be the first
to bury the blade deeper into mine
count me in, count me in
count me in, count me in
to bury the blade deep in your spine

I think it's someone that wears a facade and pretends to be someone they're not. That someone is also very deceitful and is quick to betray people that want to be friends.

I agree, Musicfan06, that saying and this song do seem to go hand in hand.

I agree with mavrick480. I thought is was "life tastes bitter when you eat with your hands"

To me this song is about how he is getting fed up with this person stabbing him in the back when he is trying to keep from doing the same to him/her. notice the last chorus changes from "count me in and ill be the one to take the knife out of your spine" to "count me in to bury the blade deep in your spine" this shows that hes given up on trying to deal with it and its time that he repays this person for all their shit! lmao...

Duuuude, only 6 comments? This song is one of my absolute favorites by them. I can relate to it because my "best friend" totally turned on me when I needed her the most. It was horrible, but Framing Hanley helped me deal with itt.

This is about a beautiful, spoiled girl that he is captured by so strongly, he finds it hard to let go. So instead, they fight all the time and hurt each other. He feels if he apologizes, she'll see him as vulnerable and go for the kill. After a while of back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, he's begging her to do it so he can be free. Finally, his helplessness, hurt, and hope turn into hate and it is done.
