i absolutely love this song. i think its about starting anew in a different town. its like hes looking for a new love, and tells himself not to mess it up again, and that hes grown up now from what happened before. great opening to the new album, eric's voice sounds a little different, but still great.

So this is a very silly question, but does anyone know if Northwestern girls are from the Northwest (Oregon/Washington/Nor Cal) or Northwestern University?

Wanderlove - This song refers to girls from the Northwest -- specifically from Washington. Say Hi, formerly known as Say Hi to Your Mom, had its roots in Brooklyn for a good number of years. It was only recently, maybe about 2 years ago, that Eric, the lead singer of the band, decided to move to Seattle. And considering this song, he must really love Washington and the girls that live there. Heh, I'm one myself and I love this song.
