Akeldama Lyrics

[Robotic voice:]
To live in true freedom is to release all inhibitions
The fears of mortality must be forgotten;
No longer living for death, no longer dying to live
Existence and non-existence coagulating
Safety found through ignorance; shackling human individuality.

[Synth Robotic Voice:]
To live in true freedom is to release all inhibitions
The fears of mortality must be forgotten;
No longer living for death, no longer dying to live
Existence and non-existence coagulate.

The most amazing combination of synthesizers and guitar work is in this song. Amazing riffs, really shows that progressive feel.

Yeah, absolutely agree with you. Every instrument has his own moment in this instrumental.

I, to this day, do not know what is being said from 2:12 - 2:23, and I really want to know. haha

Aww, I wanted lyrics for the spoken parts. Interesting song, anyway.

I talked to Michael Sherer and he told me that the synth solo in this song was actually done by Michael Keene on a guitar synth. Interesting.

If I'm not mistaken, the first set of vocals goes, "Children ensure freedom exterminates all inhibitions. The fears of mortality must be forgotten....no longer living for death, no longer dying to live. Existance and non-existance coagulating. Safety found your ignorance....shackling human indivduality."

As for those higher pitched and faster lyrics later on, like I said before, I have no idea.

The high-pitched bit is pretty much just repeating the previous robotic voice at the beginning.

"To live in true freedom is to release all inhibitions. The fears of mortality must be forgotten; No longer living for death, no longer dying to live. Existence and non-existence coagulate"

KrackedJars, you got it all right except for 2 parts. I'm pretty sure that it's "To live in sure freedom", not "Children ensure freedom", and it's "Safety found through ignorance", not "your ignorance".

"To live in sure freedom is to release all inhibition, the fears of mortality must be forgotten, no longer living for death, no longer dying to live, existence and non existence coaguagulating, safety found through ignorance, shackling human individuality."
