This song is actually about Gary Ridgway, also known as the Green River Killer. Ridgway was convicted of raping and murdering 49 young women in the 80s and 90s. The song mentions him by name (the lyrics are wrong here): “Hello Mr. Ridgway, welcome to the Sunset Hotel...” If you listen to the lyrics, it’s very obvious. Especially the part “Knocked on my door because they found a girl dead in the lake. They won't catch me again” - He was actually a suspect way back in 1984, but it took until 2001 until he was finally apprehended thanks to DNA evidence.
Meh. This song is a bit boring. Maybe i just don't like deathmetal very much. =/
