I heard this song on the show on MTV "The City" I love this song it sounds kool. I guess what he's saying is that everythings going crazy but they've just got to stick together.
One person is putting effort into relationship, and the other is not doing their part. The person putting in the effort desperately wants the other person to be captured and interested in the relationship, but they aren't communicating enough to. Things don't feel the way they used to between the boy and girl, and neither of them know why. The person doesn't want it to end, but him/her fears for the relationship. At any point the other person could let it go. These trials and tribulations are what the carousel symbolizes. Around and around they go, and the problem hasn't gotten solved. The person is willing to change in order to solve the issue, but the other person just doesn't seem to be making any effort. Every issue left unsolved just propels them further into miscommunication.
