Lost In Space

This song sounds like HIM, but anyways, I guess the lyrics are about Tobias finding a meaning for what he does.

Actually, I think that the lyrics are more about feeling lost or out of place somewhere (or in life in general). I dont know the concept of the Scarecrow album yet and this song surely will fit into that album but by itself, thats the meaning I got from it. Great song, I dont see how it sounds like HIM, but HIM is a pretty good band so.... Great song imo

It really seems like searching for meaning, or finding a place, like previously stated. In addition, I think it is about all his choices, and the tempting dark things. He doesn't choose much of anything, so he wanders in space.

I found this song very awesome, and powerful, and after listening to it and reading the lyrics a few times, i came to this interpretation.

He seems to be singing about things that die, but are never known.

I think he is talking about temptation, and how whatever it is that the barrens is a metaphor for, he was never told not to give into it.

Again, temptation, and how he couldn't have known that it was going to end in him "lost in space, roaming forever"

I'm crawling down The doorway to the badlands And kicking down Are you heard: it's to the black

This part confuses me a bit, but i imagine that he is talking about going up to the "doorway" to wherever he got screwed over and demanding..... something..... As for the last line, i am clueless

And all the damage Fading in the rear view mirror When the demons Are calling me, they're dragging me away

Again, metaphor, i believe he is talking about being dragged away by an overpowering force, the one that got him in trouble, and he can see all of the damage he has caused behind him.
