Die Alive Lyrics
Open up the night.
Led by just a feeling.
All around is light.
Everything is healing
No more fate and no more mystery.
Even as time falls away
I live my days
every moment and its memory,
not only to survive: to die alive.
Overwhelming love,
heaven's just a feeling.
Singing in my blood
keeping me from kneeling.
No more fate and no more mystery.
Even as time falls away
I live my days
every moment and it's memory,
not only to survive: to die alive.
Die alive.
No more fate and no more mystery.
Even as time falls away
I live my days
every moment and it's memory,
not only to survive: to die alive
Die alive.
Die alive.
Led by just a feeling.
All around is light.
Everything is healing
Even as time falls away
I live my days
every moment and its memory,
not only to survive: to die alive.
heaven's just a feeling.
Singing in my blood
keeping me from kneeling.
Even as time falls away
I live my days
every moment and it's memory,
not only to survive: to die alive.
Even as time falls away
I live my days
every moment and it's memory,
not only to survive: to die alive
Die alive.

This song is about living life to the full
"I live my days every moment and its memory, not only to survive: to die alive."
"To die alive" means she wants to feel alive i.e. lived life to the full, when she dies.
I think this song is best when stressed, cos it's just such a good song to sing at the top of your voice with the suspense parts and yeah... =D
The song itself... I agree with keely but maybe she doesn't want to go down without a fight?
great song!
To me it seems like she is about to die and her life is flashing before her eyes. Open up the night. Led by just a feeling. All around is light. Everything is healing Open up the night, the night being a metaphor for the end of yoru life, the next two lines are the light at the end of the tunnel expresion, while all the pain is presumably going away, in the line Everything is healing. No more fate and no more mystery. Even as time falls away I live my days every moment and its memory, not only to survive: to die alive. The first line is that she has met her fate and there is no more mystery about death, she is indeed dieng, as everything falls away, as she departs her body so to speek she sees her life flash before her eyes, and she is remembering it. Overwhelming love, heaven's just a feeling. Singing in my blood keeping me from kneeling. She goes up to heaven and feels the overwhelming love of god, and its just a feeling... and the rest of the song is essentaly just repeating from this.
I don't get this paragraph, maybe because of the lack of proper punctuation: Overwhelming love Heaven's just a feeling Singing in my blood Keeping me from kneeling
Can someone explain it to me?
