The best thing about this band is that they are Christian but always greatly conceptual. Their songs aren't just "Praise Jesus, Praise God!" all the time. While praise and worship songs are amazing, especially in artists like Chris Tomlin, Hillsong, Casting Crowns and all that good love, it's nice to hear something quieter, with more intricate lyrics, and a deeper meaning woven into the song.

Definitely love the second verse the most... It shows how we search desperately to find purpose, when God finally shows us His will in the desolate times and His love meets us...
I think the chorus is saying how we should be able to feel that God exists in the time we're given... in the signs of his wonders... but that might be my mind overthinking things...

I feel like this song is about a relationship with God, and how he'll wait for you to find him, i.e. the line "Love waits for you", and how even in the most remote or dark places He's there for you, i.e. "God shows a face, in this desolate place, and tenderness meets me" But thats just my take on it.
