Ocean of Lust Lyrics
It goes ashes to ashes
From dawn 'til dusk
I am drowning in rivers
And oceans of lust
Oh, sweet mother of god
Whose side are you on?
Oh, sweet mother of pearl
I will kill that goddamn girl
And it's driving me to drink
And it's causing me to think
You're not alone
So where did you go
You're breathing so and so
Where the hell have you gone
I've been asleep on your front lawn
Ah, pick up your phone
I know you hiding there at home
And come on stop, stop your crying
'cause I know that you've been lying to me
And it's driving me to drink
and it's causing me to think
you're not alone
I would lay you down
Upon fields of green
Under the biggest sky
That you've ever seen
Que linda madre de dios,
How the hell can you just leave us
Oh, sweet mother of pearl
won't you give me back my girl
And it's driving me to drink
And it's causing me to think
You're not alone
Alone...
From dawn 'til dusk
I am drowning in rivers
And oceans of lust
Whose side are you on?
Oh, sweet mother of pearl
I will kill that goddamn girl
And it's causing me to think
You're not alone
You're breathing so and so
Where the hell have you gone
I've been asleep on your front lawn
I know you hiding there at home
And come on stop, stop your crying
'cause I know that you've been lying to me
and it's causing me to think
you're not alone
Upon fields of green
Under the biggest sky
That you've ever seen
How the hell can you just leave us
Oh, sweet mother of pearl
won't you give me back my girl
And it's causing me to think
You're not alone
Alone...

Does anyone know what the spanish lyrics are for sure? I know it's "madre de dios", but I'm not sure about "que linda." Every site says (SPANISH) which is laame.
"That pretty mother of God"...I think.
is it about jelousy, and lust obviously
You are translating the line too literally. When you start a pharse in Spanish with "que" it is usually an exclamation, like "Que bonito!....How beautiful!" The Spanish line in the song is like "Holy Mother of God", or like the English line in the song "Sweet Mother of God."
But does that sound right?
It sounds to me more like "querida madre" which means "dear mother".
