DITC is an amazing album all the way through. However, Snakes for the Divine is subpar. Yea, they have progressed in skill musically, but there is barely any sludge melody, just thrash. Also, Matt Pike's vocals sound terrible compared to the older stuff even though there not much difference. He just sounds like he is trying to hard or is over confident in his voice.
