No one has really commented on what the lyrics mean...which is odd cause it's kind of the whole point of the website XD
Anyways, I think this song is about loving someone but they don't feel the same way or don't know. You need to get away from them and possibly find someone else. It also could be about being in a relationship and just needing a break or some time apart or they just had a fight and he just wants to leave it alone until they both cool off. Something like that.
