Tribal Connection Lyrics
Where there's a music should be coming out of every car
There is a silence all over downtown
Where community celebration should be aroused
I walk the sterile gardens where life is on pause
(Here it is)
No can do this!
No can do that!
What the hell can you do, my friend?
In this place that you call your town
I guess you can't expect much from the hometown
Well I don't know if you can even call it your own
When they don't want you to get near excitement
And in protest of that you just stay home
(Here it is now)
No can do this!
No can do that!
What the hell can you do, my friend?
In this place that you call your town
No can do this!
No can do that!
What the hell can you do, my friend?
In this place that you call your town
On intersection of all dimensions
Where I was stopping by just for a drink
I meet a brother from tribal connection
And together we began to sing
We going to turn frustration into inspiration
Whatever demons are there, we going to set them free
Such is the method of tribal connection
Of our fun-loving, restless breed
I want to walk this earth like it is mine
And so is everyone in our fun-loving tribe
Come on man, is it really so much to ask
From all these goddamn nazi-fuedals
But I'm going to take it to community
Because I want everyone to see
There never was any conspiracy
And we are all here simply to sing:
No can do this!
No can do that!
What the hell can you do, my friend?
In this place that you call your town
No can do this!
No can do that!
What the hell can you do, my friend?
In this place that you call your town
Where there's a music should be coming out of every car
There is a silence all over downtown
Only the intersection semi-alive
Outskirts are sedated, me gone
There is a silence all over downtown
Where community celebration should be aroused
I walk the sterile gardens where life is on pause
No can do this!
No can do that!

oh that's a brilliant song and makes me feel free
Socialism? Can you explain? It just seems to be about strict rules keeping people from enjoying themselves. No one goes out cause they dont wanna get in trouble. and more than that im sure...
It's hard to say if GB would ever endorse socialism of any sort. I mean, at least a few of the members have to have lived through the Soviet era. I think it's a little less simple and yet strangely more beautiful of an idea: the typical Bordello theme of cultural isolationism being stupid and human beings being much more connected than we care to realize. That, and it just strikes up another call to action for having fun!
I won't nitpick, but socialism and communism are very different. The Soviet era was obscenely opressive, and as a result they wouldn't likely care for Communism. But at its heart the principles of socialism and communism are about unity amongst all people. It will never be utilized proberly, but at its core it is something worth endorsing (in theory only, never in practice).

I find it ironic that a guy with the username "let uss be free" would find this song to be socialistic.
Many songs from "Super Taranta" are connected in various ways. I think that, for example, this should be understood as connected to "My Strange Uncles". It is about connections between people, not so much by their blood as by the way they think and regard life.
This is sooo optimistic and feel-good, perhaps the song I enjoy the most from "Taranta" album.
