You love him. You truly do. But he loves someone else. He means everything to you, but he never notices you. She doesn't love him like you do, and she never will. But maybe if he just talked to you....got to know you....maybe, just maybe, he'd love you, too. There's something inside of him you can't help but loving him. She doesn't see it. You keep thinking of ways to get him to see you. But it seems to fail everytime. He just sees right through you. Your like a shadow. Your there, but not really noticed. Understood. Or seen.

i love taylor swift. all of her songs i can relate to in some way. these lyrics are amazing.

i love taylor swift and all of her songs! i can relate to pretty much all of them. this one is my favorite right now because i feel the exact same way.

i can totally relate to that part right now. and the whole song most of the time. does anyone really need an explanation of this song?

This song and the Teardrops on my guitar.. I can really relate to it. Same situation like in the song. It's sad but when you want someone, do whatever you want to get it. But if you didn't, something better will come your way.

She's in love with a guy who's in love with someone else. She feels like he doesn't even know that they could be something amazing. She sees the spark that this other girl doesn't. She feels like she can treat him better than that chick, and she needs some way to make him realize it too.

Did anyone else notice that it's a lot like "Teardrops on My Guitar" only this guy isn't one of her close friends?
