Marry Song Lyrics

I'll marry my lover in a place to admire
I don't have to even ask her I can look in her eyes
And thank God that I am forgiven
I thank all my friends
To say I've been truer or they forgotten

Weary my mind is to say the least
It's been awful hard to just stand on my feet
I think I'll slow down if I am able
I won't drown in the ocean
Or starve in my place at the table

Lucky ones are we all til it is over
Everyone near and far
When you smile the sun it peaks through the clouds
Never die for always be around and around and around

How is your sister and what of your brother
Extend hellos to your father and mother
What in the world would cause you any sorrow
Lighten your load
And see how I keeled the wheel barrow I borrowed

Lucky ones are we all til it is over
Everyone near and far
When you smile the sun it peaks through the clouds
Never die for always be around and around and around

Beautiful song.

I'm pretty sure, though, that "Like tea in your loaf" is "Lighten your load"

you're right, but 'like tea in your loaf' would be funnier!

The keel is the principal structural member of a ship or hauling structure that runs lengthwise along the center line from bow to stern, to which the frames are attached. At least that makes sense to me from a lyric standpoint

Maybe a bit of unrequited love here. He messed up and she came back to him and are getting married now to have an amazing life together. Its exactly what I dream of, i treated an ex badly but my prayers will move mountains. A seemingly impossible object being moved by the hands of God.

I think it's "Weary my mind is..." although one could marry one's mind, i suppose.

yeah, it's "weary, my mind is." don't know exactly what word he uses but it's definitely not "like tea in your loaf" -- something like "lightening your load."

the lyrics of this song have no great meanings, other than the one's so cheesily expressed. sigh two good songs on this album. - 'is there a ghost', and 'no one's gonna love you.'

This song is simple yes, but the meaning is there.

HE loves her and wants to marry her in some place he will admire that anyone would admire, he is forgiven of all sins in her eyes becasue of their love for one another. His friends also see him as a true man, but have they forgotten maybe a time of infidelity?

Marriage is hard and busy and his mind is taking the toll, if he can slow down he will but he wont drown in the responsibility of it.

Lucky he and his wife and possibly family and friends are for their love is so strong it makes those around him feel almost better about themselfs. He loves her so deeply that he cant have a bad day knowing she is around, and around and around. She will love forever in his eyes and in his heart.

The last set is just small talk, asking how her family s, and letting her know that he would lighten her load by carrying a wheelbarrow more like a metaphor for letting her know he will always be there to support her.
