i dream a little bit
about the chance of seeing you
and outside stays true
and outside through the windowpane
and the hole in my brain

i'm getting getting getting hold of myself
i'm getting getting getting hold of myself
i'm getting getting getting hold of myself
i'm getting getting getting hold of myself
i'm getting getting getting hold of myself

and honey, it's stunning
at such a peculiar pace
i see the wrinkles in your face
start to deepen and form

and outside through the windowpane
and the hole in my brain

i'm getting getting getting hold of myself
i'm getting getting getting hold of myself
i'm getting getting getting hold of myself
i'm getting getting getting hold of myself
i'm getting getting getting hold of myself

and i said we'll run until the sun burns out
and i want to know
who wants to run until the sun burns out?
and we want to we want to
and i said we'll run until the sun burns out
and we want to know
who wants to run until the sun burns out?
and we want to we'd want to

and honey, it's fitting
at such an unusual time
i see the freckles and the lines
start to darken and sink

and i said we'll run until the sun burns out
and i'd like to know
who wants to run until the sun burns out?
and we'd like to we'd like to
and i said we'll run until the sun burns out
and we'd like to no
who wants to run until the sun burns out?
and we'd like to we'd like to

i have a feeling this about the distance between dan and madi. (; really. like, one person is missing this other person. they like having dreams because they dream about that special person. but when they do dream of that person, time is going on in the real world and they're getting older.

"i see the wrinkles in your face start to deepen and form"

meaning, time is going and they don't think they'll see each other anymore.

i think. i love this song. dan sings it wonderfully.
