yay first comment! i'm not sure wat this is about.. imagine its about a guy who likes this girl and she does too but nothing ever happened cuz shes insecure or sumting.. help?
i'm with musicfreak....not sure, but seems like its about a bitter breakup...i tend to think that something DID happen though because "say to you Would you ever want to Walk away from here If you really loved" the rest of the chorus hints at some securities, cheating or other. I can relate to this scenario, which is probably why i see it this way. Especially "Hey you, throwing everything away just to save face And the silence of it shows Hey you, you can wish it all away in a heartbeat But is it free, is it free, is it free free free free" = to me breaking up so as to not get inevitably hurt, silence...but love doesn't go away that easily.

to me,this song is full of contradictions and that is leaving space to ask-are they confused, or they do things like this on purpose... I think he is talking to generation...
