well i do like this song a lot.. but does anyone really know what it's about? the whole "see your heartbreak gone" part doesn't make much sense to me... i donno.
After reading through these lyrics again, I'm pretty sure its saying that through every heartbreak in your life, and through Satah chasing you down, God is the only source of rescue.

I think it's pretty clear, it's telling us to wake up! :P It's about letting go of the shipwreck of a life you've made and trusting in God, and He will forgive you.
I think it's about losing someone you love due to death. The dove comes to take away the ones we love. It tells us that if we're faithless, that makes losing someone SO much harder to deal with. But when we "wake up" our heart break is gone because now we know they're in a better place with God. The hard times after a loss is the shipwreck but they're gone when we have a faith.
