Trouble´s What You Are In Lyrics
Trouble's what you're in
In that dress that's as black as my heart on this train
Trouble's what you're in
Trouble
With those lips that's as red as the blood in my veins
Trouble,
You know it,
Trouble,
Soft Target
Trouble's what you're in
Coz it's a long way to London Bridge in them heels babe
Trouble's what you're in
Trouble
coz it's amazing how much one look can reveal
Trouble,
You know it,
Trouble,
Soft Target
Trouble's what you're in
Coz I’ve been waiting for just one look...
Trouble,
You know it,
Trouble,
Soft Target
In that dress that's as black as my heart on this train
Trouble's what you're in
Trouble
With those lips that's as red as the blood in my veins
You know it,
Trouble,
Soft Target
Coz it's a long way to London Bridge in them heels babe
Trouble's what you're in
Trouble
coz it's amazing how much one look can reveal
You know it,
Trouble,
Soft Target
Coz I’ve been waiting for just one look...
You know it,
Trouble,
Soft Target

I can't stop listening to this song... When I feel like i'm getting into trouble i always have his voice in my head saying "trouble's what you're in.." and it almost makes me love being in trouble!
This song seems to be about the kind of femme fatale that fellas' mums all warn them about! He's been drawn to her like a moth to a flame and it seems, has consequently got burned. The 'trouble' she's in seems to refer both to the kinky sexy side of things (the "You've been very, very naughty...wait till I get you home!" stuff) and the very real trouble she'd be in with a wronged partner who's caught her cheating.
I always thought the woman in this song is in a bad condition, like suicidal or something. Because of the lyrics, they go like "Coz it's a long way to London Bridge in them heels babe"
I haven't got "a kinky, let's go home" vibe. This is a sad song and "his heart is black"
They saw each other on the train. She is a troubled, attractive one. The man is thinking she is troubled in a way she is also self-aware of this self-destruction. He keeps saying "you know that". He is not going to be manipulated by this look. Or maybe he was waiting for it. He wants this trouble to be the hero.
"Coz I’ve been waiting for just one look..."
Many ways to look at this one, I guess. Fun when you think of this as a role playing thing between two ppl that know each other. Or maybe he is telling himself that he is in trouble now that he has seen the object of his desire. Less fun if it is the viewpoint of a predator. The black heart and heels lines can be viewed as quite menacing, creepy.\r\nIntriguing song but also somewhat uncomfortable. Swings like crazy though…
