I personally believe this song is about our capitalistic free market society, where everyone strives for power and money. Greed of the world.

I think he's saying that most of the world's problems stem from people's quest for money..

i hope i'm wrong but when he keeps saying mandatory down and tryanny of a down i just always think of that as system of a down so maybe he's saying that he lost some of his creativity on their songs because the others wanted money or didn't like it or something like that but i hope i'm wrong

i dont know exactly but i believe of a down means something like its destructive. he might have got the idea of the words from the band names but its not a referance.

the beggining, before the words, the chinese sounding part could reflect the way we have more imports that exports resulting in national debt so that the people at the head of the gov and profit.

Okay, you people are driving me nuts lol. This song is the most sraight forward on the album. I agree with Tanner99, chipper, u dont know sh*t, and i also agree with EricsOzone. All this song is about it greed, and the need for money. How simple lol
